IT NEVER GETS OLD
I have been a resident here in La Estancia for 12 years now and golf is a big component in my life.
As any of the players here will tell you, the 18-hole Bob Cupp course is not one course, but a multitude. For example, it is one course when there is no wind, and almost an entirely different course when there is wind. In addition, playing from the strategically positioned blue tees is one thing, but step back to the yellow tees and the course dramatically changes.
As a result, ask any of us regular La Estancia golfers and they will emphatically tell you that the course never gets old.
I also have to mention the exceptional ground crew which keeps the course in tip top condition, even through winter (which here is more like Northern California, cool at night and warm and sunny in the day).
A funny ancedote about the course is that ever since it opened in 2009, we have had to cancel only one game of golf in all that time due to the weather. There may not be another golf course in the world that can match that record.

After setting up his own business and accomplishing many excellent courses around the world, he created the heath style links titled the “Vintner”s Heath”. THE COURSE
The front nine play west, into the vineyards, with the morning sun on your back; while the back nine play east, into the dunes with a spectacular backdrop of deep red mountains lit by the afternoon sun.
The golf course includes a driving range with a special three-hole practice facility and a practice green for improving the short game.
