This Friday the cruise ship World Navigator arrived at the Port of Buenos Aires with 100 tourists from Europe, the United States and Canada.
The American flagged ship was the first of 21 other confirmed cruise ships that will bring about 30,000 tourists from abroad to the port of the city, and to other national ports, since besides mooring at the Port of Buenos Aires, they will do so at the Port of Madryn and the Port of Ushuaia, and some of them will even continue south to explore the Antarctic.
Alexis Guerrera, Minister of Transport, said: "We are very happy to welcome the World Navigator, its crew and the 100 passengers who chose Argentina to visit us. This first cruise ship of the season in Puerto Buenos Aires is very good news for many traders and entrepreneurs who see tourism as an engine for their activities".
